'These houses recreate the Thai and Japanese
custom of providing a place for the spirits of their ancestors
to visit without bringing mischief into the home of the living.
The doors are always left open to welcome, and to
give them the freedom to come and go as they please.
Custom made houses are available to welcome
specific spirits.
